In today's fast-paced world, it is essential to be able to convey key messages quickly, clearly and concisely. This was the main goal of the media training that TOPAZ, with the support of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Czech Republic, organized for TOP 09 politicians this autumn.
In the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the media training was attended by MPs Michal Zuna, Jiří Slavík, Miloš Nový and Helena Langšádlová, Senator Jan Pirk and Marek Sovka, Deputy Governor of the South Moravian Region. Among the participants were also regional councillors Miroslav Zemánek from the Zlín Region and Václav Švenda from the Central Bohemia Region.
The next training session took place in the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, where Senators Pavel Fischer and Jan Grulich, Deputy Mayor of Roudnice nad Labem Richard Červený and Martin Růžek, Chairman of the TOP Team, met. Senator Pavel Fischer evaluated the training as excellent: "We heard technical but also substantive things and discussed how to prepare for the outcomes. I would like to thank them very much for that."
All training sessions focused on the practical aspects of media presentation, including the correct way of speaking on camera and the basics of appearing pleasantly on television. Participants had the opportunity to try out different situations they do not normally get into and gain valuable knowledge on how to express themselves in the best possible way.
"I am extremely satisfied because I realize the importance of these trainings. They are very necessary for us politicians so that our performances are really professional," said MP Miloš Nový.
Thanks to these trainings, politicians are better prepared for the challenges of the modern media environment and equipped with the tools for effective communication and self-presentation. TOPAZ could thus again contribute to improving the communication competences of TOP 09 politicians, but also to a more general strengthening of the professionalism and quality of political communication in the Czech Republic.
